The Saint Laurent show was emotional, to say the least – I felt it was honouring the city of Paris (the backdrop of the venue was the Eiffel Tower), Yves Saint Laurent as a designer and visionary – and his perhaps better half, Pierre Bergé who passed away last month. Anthony Vaccarello brought back some beautiful and memorable silhouettes from the archives and put his own sexy twist on them.

I loved the volume and lack thereof in this collection – some body parts are exposed and some drown in massive ruffles and tulles. I found it to be provocative in an unexpected way, but expectedly the shoes were on fire as usual. Vaccarrello is a master of seduction and showmanship.
